Personally, being a professional investor is often devoid of a bigger meaning. My first career as a physical therapist led to med school and my current career as a child and adult psychiatrist and practice partner…in this I find myself using/teaching optimize principles to my patients as much as I prescribe medicines. I’ve been following Brian and Optimize for years (from the En*theos days!) I jumped at the opportunity to become one of the first lifetime members when the goal was to create a physical Optimize space. Living on the other side of the world I knew it wouldn’t be a place I could visit as often as I’d like - more of a pilgrimage :) - but it was something the world needed. I carry Optimize with me everywhere so it’s always there when I need an extra bit of wisdom, courage, patience and encouragement. Brian lives and breathes his philosophy and is a constant reminder to strive to be the best version of myself, moment to moment. Even reflecting on how Optimize and Brian have both evolved over the years brings me joy, as it demonstrates the philosophy at work: success is about showing up, experimenting and making consistent improvements that will compound over time ("+1, +1, +1"). It serves as a reminder that the greatest overnight successes take years of hard work, wins and lessons, trials and tweaks. As such, I am confident Heroic PBC is ready to be an overnight success :)

Despite working in Finance, I believe ROI goes beyond mere dollars and cents. The ROI on my Optimize membership cannot (and frankly, should not) be quantified in dollars & cents- it’s far more valuable than that! I always feel better after some Optimize time: more confident, more creative, more hopeful, more fired up (energized tranquility style) and more inspired to take action. I have benefited from all aspects of the Optimize membership. While I hope to enroll in a future Coach program class, right now I am focused on the the greatest heroic journey of my life to date - growing a healthy baby, due in early June. For years I’ve known that I would incorporate Optimize wisdom into my parenting, but I see so much more opportunity to do so with Heroic PBC.*

With so much dis-ease in the world - from physical & mental, to political & social, to the ego/eco dis-ease between humans and our planet - I’ve had many moments of despair about the kind of world my child will be born into (I’m sure I’m not alone).
But I choose hope, to find the light in the darkness… and I know that Heroic PBC has the potential to be a brilliant ‘Guiding Star’ that inspires even more people to answer the call on their hero’s journey; to live with arete; to screw their lightbulb-selves in and let the divine light shine through… and one by one - through that light - heal much of that dis-ease.
That is the main reason why I need to invest in Heroic PBC - for the benefit of my child and the world they will inherit.

I am excited about investing in Heroic for multiple reasons. The first is that I really like the idea of a social media that isn’t harmful to its users. I had a social media account for my business that I worked on for months. I posted every day, but I eventually stopped because it didn’t align with my values. The entire algorithm depended on grabbing attention and keeping people on the app, things that I don’t like about certain media platforms. The second is that I like optimize. I love looking at the books that Brian reads, and I loved the two year challenge he did, receiving a +1 daily, gave me something to look forward to. Many years ago, I joined Optimize because I was very impressed with your book recommendations Brian; it was obvious to me that your goal in presenting Optimize was to help people find the sources that could be of assistance to anyone who was going through difficult times or just dealing with everyday situations; you went further by studying in depth and explaining those philosophies, thought by thought, with you daily emails and presentations; you have continued much further and now you are being joined by thousands of modern-day philosophers who are joining you in order to help the generations to come; for me, at 71 years of age and having been called a work addict all my life, I am still working full-time on computers remotely at the moment and God has given me my health so that I can still do it… I am very pleased that you have continued, for so many years, your studies and your Daily Notes, when I joined I listened to my instinct that told me that I had to join Optimize; it is a gift to me that I had my security blanket that I could access anytime I felt that I could be overwhelmed with life and that was your list of books, Brian I can only invest $100 at this time but if it was possible I would be investing a lot more not just because of a return potentially because I am already 71 years old but as a thank you and in a way to say I respect you for the work that you have done for so many years, God bless and protect you and all the people who are joining you and all the people who have gained knowledge through your studies and your writings and your daily notes and your videos!

He wanted to invest a high amount of money, but appereantly is not allowed to because of Wefunde/state policies.

So instead, we decided to both invest to get at least somewhere in the direction of the initially intendet investment (but still nowhere close).
